I got this in an email doing the rounds, sorry for the crap formatting, but I just can't be arsed to change it :-P

Ah yes, quite a few things are recognisable, even though I'm not really an 80's child. I was born in 80 so I only really experienced the end. :-).
You know what's horrible? I'm actually starting to see girls/women wear legwarmers again :-o.

Me too, and also except those where much money is involved: having whole lego cities (well, I would rather have made a castle from it), a casette player, a BMX and pocket money.

I was definately a child of the 80's. but I can only relate to about 1/3 of that.
I mean, sh&t. No chance in hell wil lyou catch me wearing short-shorts under a skirt:-P
But seriously, must be regional. I could whip up a more US list with a quickness:-) The 1/3 - 1/2 I do relate with is true. I remember when TAFKAP was Prince, and I know 'what it sounds like when doves cry'.

When I was about 16 my mum asked me if I resented not having had many toys and stuff while I was growing up. I hadn't realised until then how little we had.
I did have a nice bike, though. Until someone stole it from outside my house. :cry: I got £50 from the house insurance company, and used it to buy a SuperNES. ;-)

I can remember most of that stuff. I remember the A-ha video from 1985 and thinking how cool it was. A Dog didnt run into our School - but a Ferrit did.
But being 24 I guess I must be more of the 90's..
Still - I see kids today, and their early childhoods dont seem to ba as much fun. I dont think mine was as much as my mums, she grew up on a huge farm. My Dad had a harsh child hood though.
Still too many cities - parents with no time. Too much TV.
Now I do feel old.

I was born in 1978.
I still dunno what "Psyche!" means. Seen it used on TV in various yank shows and it's used in the same context as "Not!" from Bill and Ted.
Example: "You look really cool today... Not!"
I have never, and will never wear florescent clothing, athough I know a good few classmates who did especially non-matching socks.

Well, I had Lego, but just enough to make a small toy house.

Ahhh...the good old days, I still have a huge scar on my hand where I tore a chunk'o'flesh off in a bike "accident".

Heh... Yep... Great stuff... I was born in '74, so I sure took part in a lot of the 80's mayhem. BMX, Legos, and then, in 85 or so... My Commodore 64! Woohoo!
For sure, wrecked the BMX a few times. Got a scar on my chin from a maneuver that went horribly wrong. (Actually, it was better than the alternative! I managed to not get run over by the car that was heading at me!) Double-flipped the BMX end-over-end once out of my own stupidity, too, and managed to escape that one with only a scratch on my leg and a torn shirt. And people say we should wear helmets while riding bikes, now. :-P
And, redrumloa... From 80's movies.... I sure remember "REDRUM REDRUM!" Yikes! That's the kind of stuff that belongs on spookychick. ;-)

Ahhhh! The 80`s, the happiest time of my life! :-D I was born in 77, so i remember most of the 80`s
Now i can see the 80`s coming back in full effect! :-o Here in norway its suddenly cool with the infamous "Hockey haircut" or the "MacGyver haircut", the new clothes now you can find in shops looks like something you had in your closet for 15 years :-D And the radio has stopped playing r&b/rap and switched to 80`s hit singles.
It`s weird, it`s like going back to 1986 when me and my gf go out and see all these teenagers dressed like i did when i was a kid :lol:
