Title: help-need reminder on how to use GVP expansion with 500
Post by: HarryM on May 18, 2004, 11:27:48 PM
I just dug out my 500 and it still works great !  I forgot how good they were...... Ran some graphics demos..

I plugged in my GVP expansion containing a hard drive and add on memory.  I can't remember how to access it.

Do I need a GVP floppy to load after I load WB or do I have to do a shell command or ....??

I had written on my WB disk "ok for GVP expansion" but I do not remember what I meant.

Any help/reminders greatly appreciated..

Hey which GVP expansion are you using? A500HD or the A530? in either case congratulations on an amazing piece of kit! I still use mine regularily, and am constantly impressed with it's adaptabilty. I am currently trying to set up a dual boot environment with Linux, but am having difficulties due to my in-experience.
