Title: Velvet Revolver
Post by: redrumloa on May 16, 2004, 05:58:14 PM
Here's another one. What do you old metalheads like me think of Velvet Revolver's new video (http://www.velvetrevolver.net/downloads/mediaplayer/mediaplayer.asp?Media_Type=Real Player&url=http://media.bmgonline.com/rcarecords.com/velvet_revolver/video/slither_300.ram&title=SLITHER)? Also how long can the band last with Scott Weiland's habits?

Not long sadly :-(

I've been looking forward to hearing them, but I'll have to wait till tomorrow before I can watch that video.

I listened to the whole of their album and I was a bit dissappointed. I think it's Scotts style of singing that turned me off... "Set me free" is still a great song though. On a side note, how many of you think that Axl Rose will re-animate GNR? I don't really see it happening...

It's not really a case of re-animating GnR, they are going now.  It's a case of Axl getting off his pernickety perfectionist arse and releasing the album that he's been producing for the last 6 years.
