Title: Old topics

I realise that the Talk-About section is gone for good, but sometimes I search for old topics. e.g. just now I searched for a thread that I started that asked for advice about car insurance. Well, I need that info again, I do a search, it finds the thread, but I can't read it.
I don't want to resurrect old threads by posting on them, just read them. Is it possible to implement this please? Pretty please?

I think old threads can be a real treasure trove (yarrggh!) of information.

Unfortunately, there's no setting which would allow reading, but not posting. As usual, if there's a thread you need, let me know the URL and I'll try and move it for you.
