Title: What are DMS-files ?

I'm wondering what dms-files are and what program one needs to extract.

DMS files are archives.
Are you looking to decompress them on an Amiga or PC?
On PC, you should be able to use WinZIP or WinRAR.
On Amiga - see Aminet, for utils.
