Title: JIT emulator for x86 instruction set.
Post by: chromozone on January 15, 2003, 06:27:10 PM
Just wondering if there is a "JIT" Virtual Machine.

Running on  PPC that would do the x86 emulation
That Dr.No was asking about in an earlier thread.

With PPC's fast contect switching & FPU it should
give a very snappy result.

Being a VM it would allow other x86 OS's not just M$ Bloatware. ie BeOS5, QNX, Linux(x86), BSD & Solaris.
