Is it not possible to have Amplifier or AmigaAMP auto adjust the volume independantly?
It's an annoying factor when some mp3's are recorded low, and you need to turn up the volume manually, and others...well, other way around :)
Cheers,

Normalise ??
-
Hi haymiggan
mhhh . . .not a great option anyway.
Normalize in RT, is impossible and other way as Automatic Control Level, should have a really bad quality as result.
The real annoying thing with AmigaAMP and Amplifier, is that both has a lower output level, compared with SongPlayer (the best option for quality output IMHO)
. . . if SongPlayer should be skinable . . . :-)

Hey Fragmiga,
I'd wish Amplifer had automatic control level! And that's really a missing feature i'd say! Is it too CPU intensive?
Yes...shame about songplayer's bulky look :)

Even most PC media players don't normalize correctly!

I was going to say that the best way to enjoy music is by piping it through real HI-FI equipment that can do normalise properly. But with the quality loss that comes with mp3, that's pretty pointless anyway. ;-)

Hi haymiggan,
an AutomaticLevelControl in RT, should be possible but a real Normalize not.
A normalize operation, requires that the sample is analyzed before, and then Normalized.
Normalize in realtime, isn't possible with Amiga and with other platforms too.
