Title: Tony Robinson
Post by: sumner7 on May 05, 2004, 12:53:30 PM
Does anyone remember the name of the show that Tony Robinson of Time Team fame used to present on kids TV? He was talking in front of a cartoon in the background and all you ever wanted to watch was the cartoon, not Baldrick!

Perchance was it Fat Tulip's Garden?

Can't really find any info on Google about it.

Shocking spelling mistakes corrected.

I think it was from 1993. I remember watching it vividly.  :-)

Hum, i`m sure that he was in `maid Marion and her merry men` (oh misses)... (he certainly produce/wrote the series).

[How long has the `time-team` been  on anyway?]

It was cartoon time (or similar name), where he took over from Rolf Harris, since Tony couldn't draw he just used to sand there and talk.

 Tell me about it. I wanted to watch the cartoon, not Baldrick himself!
