Title: Some software problems...
Post by: evil_nerd on May 01, 2004, 07:55:53 PM
Hello,

1. I've just tested my Amiga 500, it runs fine... But is it normal that the floppy drive makes a noise? Tested it on the 2 Amiga's that I have it makes that noise on both. But the PC floppy drive doesn't make that sound...

2. Some software gives me an error: read / write error. Can I do something about that? Some of that programs I would really like to have :P

1. The Amiga checks for disk changes by itself. A PC does not do this. There are several "No Click" programs on Aminet, but they a´ll require Kickstart 2.0 or later.

2. Get DiskSalv from Aminet and use it to copy the files to a new disk. If all files are rescued, retire the old disk.

Aminet: www.aminet.net

Bye,
Thomas
