Title: Can clockport of X-surf be used on a A2000 ???
Post by: Effy on October 25, 2002, 02:56:54 PM
Just wondering if the clockport of an X-surf ethernetcard can be used on a A2000 that has never heard of any clockport ??? I still have got a Medody1200 soundcard that can only be connected to the clockport ... would be nice to make that A2000 as full as possible ...

The X-Surf is a Zorro-2-card and that doesn't change if it is in a
A2000 or A3/4000 (which also don't have a clockport). The clockport
is just a small address-range inside the first 24bits. and therefore
quite easy to move to any Zorro-2-card.
