Title: Amiga games on a Killer monitor???
Post by: McNorris on January 11, 2003, 01:25:59 AM
Hey folk,

I have a 17" Trinitron Sony(Flat screen) that is soon to be free of the x86 that sits below it.

My question is will old games look ridiculous on a killer 17" monitor?

My question is, do you have a scandoubler?  If not, those games aren't going to look like much of anything other than a VHOLD problem.  ;-)

I have my miggy hooked to a 21" Viewsonic monitor, though (shared via Belkin switch) and with the scandoubler, games look large, and a bit blocky, but still pretty nice, so I think you should be ok, size-wise...

I will have a scan doubler. I just thought most of the games are in 320*200 and would look too incredibly blocky.

What do you think...???

Nah, I don't think so. I use a 19" Trinitron myself. I think old games look pretty much like they used to, except the picture is sharper and brighter than on a TV.
