I used to play a game where you controlled production of space marine type forces... it was a strategy game but not real time, you were able to colonize planets but you had to terra form it first. when you fought against the computer, it showed percentages of forces left for either side... during battle, you could control the aggression of your troops, i think there were 3 levels, this was accomplished by clicking on the picture of the unit and it would go from calm face to really angry face. there might have been a 2 player option but im not sure. the interface was divided into multiple windows and during any event, short animations of things like combat and terra forming would play then repeat till it was finished. it was a really cool game and looked great, just wish i could find again. thanks in advance

Think of the dialup users! :-).

Yep, Supremarcy.
I spent hours playing this game. I have the original right here.

It's Supremacy all right. I have the original too, or rather the rerelease original. It always had a bad disk though; after the months I tried to beat Rorn, I didn't even get to see the end sequence, the error made it unreadable! :-x
