As of yesterday, all the ancillary blocks in the center of the main page have been moved to either the left or right columns to create a little more balanced page. When everyone twisted my arm to add news descriptions to the main page, it really disrupted the flow of what I was trying to go for. As such, things like the polls which were at the bottom of the page were rarely used.
Other blocks, as it turned out, were a bit redundant when we actually stepped back and took a look (what's new and QuickStats for example).

Very nice -- I like it better. :) Any chance to get back the random picture, though? That was always kinda cool. Never knew who/what you'd see.

[edit2:] Ok, I get it. I'm NOT going insane. It's not there if you're not logged in. But once you log in, it's there. :-)
