Title: CD-RW burning software
Post by: amiwalker on April 21, 2004, 09:58:24 PM
Hello:

Just wondering what the best software for burning CD's is.

Shareware, Freeware, or Purchase does not matter.

I just bought a Plextor Plexwriter 12/10/32s SCSI CD-RW drive Model PX-W1210TS

I do however need it to be compatable with the drive.

Any sugestions are welcome.

Thanks!

MakeCD and BurnIT. Both are commercial, but available as working demos on Aminet so you can see if your drive works with them.

Oh, and Frying Pan, although I don't know whether that's freeware or not.

Frying Pan is worth to try, but it's shareware.
Without a key it only simulates a writing iirc.

You can get it from:

Thanks for the info. I will be sure to try them both out when the drive arrives in the mail.

I may also try "FryingPan" shareware.

Once again, Thanks!!!

I use MakeCD and like it alot though it may be difficult to register these days.  Check on how you do that to be sure.
