Title: Serious (cheating) help needed!

Having played 9 Lives on the Amiga for about 10 years I finally have to admit defeat!

Does anyone know of a cheat so I can get past the first damn level?

I don't think I've ever seen or played that game... however that owl on the bottom screenshot looks just like the owl from that "Sword in the Stone" animated movie.
