You need a real Amiga and a program called ADFBlitz or Transdisk (See Aminet).

How does one go back the other way?

I have started collecting some old Amiga's, I would like to get the software from my WinUAE setup onto my A2000 and A3000, os there a utility for that?

pc2amiga

but you're gonna need to get it to the Amiga somehow.. null modem would work also.

Mike: If you have a cd-rom, just burn it to a CD and transfer them that way. If you don't, there's always the Amiga Explorer option (supplied with Amiga Forever - check Cloanto's home page). Using zip- or Jaz-disks is also an option. Use ADFBlitz or similar to burn the files back to floppy :)

@drwho

Just setup a harddrive on one of the amigas, and throw(not literally) it in the pecee. Then use Winuae to access it and shuffle everything over.

other than that, get the ADF files onto the miggy in some way and use something like ADF2DISK on aminet to write the adf file back to disk. trouble is, it doesn't support RAD disks :( but there may be some adf disk manager on aminet that can. i've found something i like working with and it works for me, so ymmv :)

All good info above. Do a search on Aminet for ADF and you will find more then one way to do it. Just about all of them will write ADF back to disk again on a real amiga. In all cases you will need a real amiga to do that though. I havent been able to get it to write them using a Catweasel MK III in a PC or a Pegasos yet.

Actually, I have found a good way to do this, albeit a bit of a chore in a way.

I have an Adaptec 2940 SCSI controller I slapped into my PC that I have WinUAE running on. I took a 4.5GB SCSI drive that I am not using for anything else, partitioned and formatted the drive in my A3000.

I stuck the drive on the PC, and was able to mount it in WinUAE. Then I just copied everything to the drive.

Popped the drive back into the 3000 and it worked like a charm.

Fast too  :-D
