Title: The ultimate OS 3.1 setup

I'm going to reinstall OS 3.1 via WinUAE tomorrow. All I have is the OS disks, and the ROMs. I want to know what you think that I should install ontop of it. OS-mods, patches, freeware/shareware applications, utilities, workbench backdrops, everything!
So drop your suggestions, please! :)

If you upgrade to OS3.9 you won't need "hacks".
at least I never have, but then I like a clean install.

and nothing is more useful than Dopus Magellan. I LOVE that program.
In my emulation i don't use it as a Wb replacement. I did that with my real AMiga, but I don't think I need it with WinUAE.

A large part of OS3.9 is "hacks" :-)

why not get the new amiga forever WB3.9 is included, that´s what I´m going to do( I never bought the osupgrades neither .5 or 3.9).

This was mainly thought as a fun thing to do.
As Dan pointed out, OS3.5/9 are full of hacks. Besides, I can't afford it.

If you can afford the Amiga Forever 6 (http://www.amigaforever.com/), I think is the best choice. There are many prepared config files for 1.x and 3.x Amigas, plus many applications and goodies.
