Atm I'm reinstalling my old A4000, and came to an odd problem, ClickToFront outright refuses to work. It is listed as active in Exchange, and I allready updated CGX4, and installed both 3.9 BBs.
No avail ....
And that at 640x480 :-x (only the trusty old Nec3D on a CV64).
And on a related matter:
I'm currently installing it all on an IDE-disk, since the SCSI got corrupted and I need to get some files from it before I try to fix it. Once thats happened, I will use it instead of the IDE. Now, I don't want to use FFS anymore, and I'm gonna wipe the whole disk anyway.
I do have a regged copy of PFS3 (came with the A4000, never tried it), and I do know SFS from the Peg (but not wether it is free for 68k).
So what would be the better solution ? What are the differences in security/performance between these 2 ?

SFS is free. Latest version is 1.214.

Kronos,
I can't compare since I've never used SFS. But PFS3 was wonderful when I still had my 4000. The general speedup on the system was really nice. I'm still hoping it will be updated once OS4 is selling.

@Kronos
Stick with SFS If you know that better. Yes it is free and on the Aminet
also remember
C:SetPatch SKIPROMUPDATES "scsi.device" QUIET
I have had both on a hard drive and used both for many years. I have had better luck with SFS with it working with more drives.

@paul
SFS and a new FFS are built into 4.0
