Title: Mediator video
Post by: Attic on April 13, 2004, 01:14:26 PM
Hi AmiPeps,
What Graphics card is best to use with the mediator card? I've got a PCI Voodoo 4500 and a Voodoo3 2000.

If you have already both of them, try the 4500: it has more gfx-ram.

Anyway there is no difference using a 4500 or a vodoo4 on amiga classic. Try warp3d. If the driver works also for the voodoo4 stick with it. But remember that the drivers were written for Voodoo3.

Would a Voodoo 3Dfx work with the Mediator?

Well, would it work with the drivers is the real question :-)

Well, I've tried both and there doesn't seem to be any difference between them. Nice to have larger screen sizes quicker graphics and loads more colours though   ;-)

Thanks for the replies.

Use the 3000 card. With a 1200 and an eccelerator AFAIK you can only get 8MB video ream from them anyway. The 4000 and 3000 versions dont have this problem.
