Today is a great day in the history of spaceflight.
Russia celebrates this day as Cosmonautics Day.
On April 12, 1961, Cosmonaut Yuri Gagarin became the first human to travel in space, when he was launched on the historic "Vostok 1" flight.
The first flight of the Space Shuttle took place on April 12, 1981. The Space Shuttle Columbia (STS-1) blasted off on its historic mission on the 20th anniversary of Gagarin's groundbreaking flight.
I say congratulations on behalf of A.org to the Russian Federal Space Agency. ;)
Anatolii Perminov no doubt will be getting very drunk...
[have you ever noticed how A.org sounds like Borg?]

i wouldn't blame anyone for trying to escape planet earth. the place is full of nuts, religious and polical kooks, weirdos who are busy blowing everybody up, and most important, way too many damn lawyers!
