Okay I'm trying to get back in the business of being organized, so I can make some room for my new systems I'm gonna have to modify. So I cleaning out my room, and I see an External Amiga 1011. :-o
Err I don't use it on either my A4k's or my A2k, so I'm going to do something good. :idea: I got it with other Amiga stuff I got before, so It's not like I really need it. :angel: To redeem myself of my sins I'm going to give away this drive at the cost of shipping. It has two scratches on the top, one 2 inches, and one 1 cm. Spring Cleaning!!!!!!! Yeah this might be the one time I bEhavE all year.
I live in the 46804

Does it work? How much does it weigh (so I can calculate shipping). I might just take it if it's not too much.

Is there anything different between the A1011 and a normal external disk drive?

@Nightshade
The A1011 is in fact the A500 diskdrive put in an external case, so it is a lot thicker than the regular external floppies. It also misses the 23 pin port so you can't add further drives after the 1011. (Just leave the 1011 at the end of the chain.)

Last time I checked it before it worked,(there is alwso this cheap looking metal covered one I have here too that I used it with.) But that was a long long time ago, when I got all that stuff for the Amiga. Then that thing got lost. But I'll test it out, and see how much it weights (probaby less then a lb)

Thanks. I'll await the results.
