Post by: DGB on January 08, 2003, 01:35:11 AM
Does anyone know if newer versions of the Toaster software have stoped supporting the Toaster 2000 board and if so what was the last version that supported it?

Depends on what you mean by "newer versions of Toaster software"?  All the Amiga versions of Toaster/Flyer I've seen have been support on the 2000 and 4000 boads.  I think the latest version was 4.2.  The Toaster stuff on Newtek's site is the PC version (different board & software)/

I saw a 4.3 version for sale but I wasn't sure it was for the Toaster 4000 card only or if it was for the PC version.  I understand that some versions supported both the 2000 and the 4000.  I will have to find the Newtek site and check it out.  I just figured that there had to be somebody here who knew and could save me the time.

4.3 is the lastest version it supports both toaster boards, and all toaster compatible amiga configurations.   The 4.3 software added support for having both 3.x software and 4.x software on the same computer, as for switching many found the 3.x software easier to use.

Thank you.  That is just what I wanted to know.
