Title: Using external CD burner on A2000
Post by: phlaw on April 06, 2004, 12:23:46 PM
I have an Amiga 2000 68040 and was wondering what it would take to hook it up with a CD burner.

I have an external SCSI burner that I use with a Tascam 788 Digital PortaStudio, could this work, o would I need internal?

Not sure on all the specs of my machine, I haven't used in since 96/97 but I want to start it up again.

Thanks

I have an A3000 with an external Burner....
I don't see why your setup wouldn't work.

I use BurnIT software and after using Nero
on my PC I can't say I care much for BurnIT.

Anyway your setup should work.

You should use MakeCD :-)

Ok, CD-burning using an Amiga is not as comfortable as if you use a Wind#*? PC, but it works, and it works good, have no problem in creating Wind#*?= CD's using my Amiga, but vice versa ;-)
