as i have been on this forum a2000 and a500+ roms are the same..... i can't tell what the romd are in the a2000 (it does't say on it) but i opened my a500+ and it says "v2.04" can i just unplug it and put it in my a2000

simple answer yes you can :-)
to find out what version of rom you have in your A2000 let it boot with no HDD or floppy inserted and it will boot to the insert disk screen, it'll tell you the rom version there.

@Ryu
Not exactly true, A2000"A"s and some early "B"s needed some resitor
(or was it a capacitor ?) soldered to 2 pins of the ROM-socket to see
the 2nd 256K of 2.x/3.x-ROMs. Maybe there was even more to it, but
my memory isn't what it was ....

i think mine is a A2000-C tho "The Rev 6 A2000 was never called the A2000C, except maybe by geeks on usenet " hee hee.
