Title: Older laptops cheap (AROS - emulation) AO user special!

As a nod of approval to Amiga.org and it's users we are offering free US shipping when buy-it-now is used. You must mention your AO username to get free US shipping!

X86 laptop? Why is that good for an Amigan?

1) Emulation-portable gaming. Fellow or even WinUAE would give a good portable Amiga gamingsolution.
2) Portable Amiga. WinUAE or AROS portable on the cheap.
3) Small footprint device for serial debugging. For when you need a second computer hooked up via null modem, a laptop is very handy.

Hm, I just sold my 700mhz celeron laptop with 128mb ram and 10 gig hd for $200 and I thought that was a good sale.

I got 100EUR for a cruddy old P120 laptop with a whopping 16mb ram a few months ago. People are willing to pay ridicilous amounts for laptops.

For good reason too, these things are critical if you must be portable.  I miss having a laptop, would give me a world of possibilities for working.

Sounds sweet.  Maybe in July if you have the same special going.  Moving into new house so funding will be tight over the next few months.
