Hello,
I was wondering how would i zip up files under lha, i know how to unzip using the "lha x ram:xyz ram:xyz" command but forgot how to zip them up again. I used to know how to, but i have lost the docs, i remember getting it from an old Amiga Format disk. It probably something bloody simple like "lha e ram:xyz ram:xyz" or something. Anyway, the first person to solve my pickle of a problem will win a prize! (ie: a dog bone) :-D
Cheers,

Er....'zipping'using LHA? Wouldn't that be LHA'ing?
Anyhoo, just do a c:lha and you'll see the commandline options. 'LHA a bla.lha dh1:blah' would pack the dir 'blah' in 'dh1:' I think.

I think you would need to use the -r option to do a directory..
lha a -r newarchive.lha pictures/#?

I use:
lha -a -e -x -r a RAM:Hello.lha SYS:#?
-a - Preserve file attribs
-e - Archive empty dirs
-x - preserve and use path names
-r - collect recursively
that usually does the trick no problem :-)
