What is it that we have, wich others don't?
Any thoughts?
For me,.. Amiga is superb because of .iff, .lha and other nice specific formats.
When I talk to people out there, I also notice that if I say .iff, there is sure that most of graphic users thinks aha, this is from Amiga.
Same with the MOD format.
What other things is Amiga specific? Any thoughts/comments?

These sorts of posts shouldn't be posted.

But if these posts were not posted in the first place then how would we know about posts that should not be posted if the posted posts were not posted in the first place for people to complain about the post then post that the offending posts should not have been posted, hmmm?

The Guru can even be useful sometimes.
And it used to be partually reversible. Anybody remember the Guru-Capture program G.O.M.F.?
We still get respect from a lot of graphics & video professionals. Some never used the Amiga but know the material produced by it & some have been forced to move to other platforms. For example, on March 22nd OSNews ran a story on the state of video editing & related software on Linux. The author mentioned his old Amiga more than once in glowing terms.

A structured and nicely layed out OS that doesn't need a lot of ram or a pagefile. Command go in C:, Libraries go in Libs:, Prefs files go in Envarc, All the help files go in Help:
Fantastic.
Oh, yeah, we have assigns too :-)
And lets not forget the no-one-can-do-without Ram Disk :-D

SnoopDos is really nice too ... miss this on my Linux/Win System

Thats a good one!
What should we create now at the moment, wich could get PC and Mac users to buy PegasosII or AmigaONE computers?
Is a own movie format a good choice maybe?

You seem obsessed with avoiding standards at all costs... that is just plain weird. Why spend all that time an resources on creating a new video format when that time spent porting DivX would be infinatelly superior.

Hi Matt,
i 100% agree . . custom format, should be a step behind.
