Hi Folks,
I have just inherited a friends A3000, apparently, this machine has a built in FlickerFixer or at least, that's what it looks like anyways.
My question is, I understand that I can use a Multisync monitor with this to get rid of flicker, which would be very cool. Does anyone know where there is a list of which monitors will work with the FF on the A3000? I would like to buy a monitor, but, I don't want to get the wrong one.
Thanks,
Mike

Set the switch on the back of the A3000 to 30khz. Any VGA or better monitor will display NTSC and PAL laced with no flicker. :)

Rreally? Any old VGA monitor?!?!?! That's really cool. I thought you had to use multisync monitors only and only certain kinds.
Thanks!

Not just an old VGA monitor, but any VGA or newer monitor would do. That is infact 99.9999% of all pecee monitors, so you can hook up an 21" and enjoy :-D

Yep... The Amiga 3000 series is the ONLY Amiga that this is true for, though. The rest require a flicker fixer/scan doubler combo, or a rare 15khz/30khz multi-sync.
