Why doesn't this manual even mention AROS? Did you really write the operating system yourselves?
Let the programmer who did it come forward and say, “Yes, I wrote the operating system.” I wonder who will have the nerve to do so.
This is not just a violation of the AROS license. It's spitting in the face of all AROS developers over the years.

You being serious.
Why are you starting for, you do realise bug fixes are fedback to AROS. So are you saying its like spitting in the face of AROS devs when bugs are being fixed and fedback.
Yeh right, thats a logical sttement.
Besides, where does it state its not using AROS?

OMG! The peanut gallery stirring up the post again.
Let me guess, the people that are bent out of shape don;t even own a 600GS or 1200NG, they just decided to look at a pdf and interject their opion.
The trolls really need to bounce.

I would refrain from attacking AROS supporters... He's absolutely right bug fixes aren't acknowledgement of the years of development involved in AROS. I can name one AROS developer who by himself has dwarfed probably your entire codebase and his work you are using. As a matter of far I can name 5 of which without them you wouldn't have FW included with the systems. Simply acknowleding the fact that the very core of the Distribution you guys have created still requires AROS. and I am not diminishing the work involved in what you guys have created ... however pretending something doesn't exist is IMHO disingenuous.

You're correct I don't own either an 600GS or 1200NG ... I do however own the rights to Finalwriter. Plus I'm one of AROS' biggest financial supporters.

@Terminills
I am not sure if you spotted some of my other posts on other forums.
The A1200 NG manual and Wiki have been updated promptly with the suggestions that Deadwood made.
Any other feedback is welcome.

Please read section 3.6 of the license, which states what happens when distributing an executable version.
Section 3.6 requires a clear statement that the components distributed in binary form have code available under the AROS Public License and that the distribution of components in binary form does not limit the rights of those who receive these components to the source code versions.
It also states where this information should be placed.
