Title: Non-Amiga ad banners
Post by: weirdami on March 26, 2004, 09:26:26 PM
spookychick.com is the first non-amiga related banner ad I've seen on AO. Have you recently opened up the ad requirements, or does it just happen to be that nobody else non-amiga ever asked for an ad on AO?

I didn't see a special news announcement for it either. Has that changed, too?

Hint: Wayne knows the person it was set up for :-D

@Wayne (if you're reading)

Are you mad, sending thousands of Amigans onto a poor, innocent forum :-o  :-P

Wayne and family aren't the only ones that have an external from Amiga/MorphOS/Computer website.  We recently started the Anime Fandorium (http://anime.fandorium.com).

While still based in xoops (I think I'll upgrade it to exoops soon), I've spent a huge amount of time trying to fix up the storyline module (http://anime.fandorium.com/modules/storyline) to actually do what it's supposed to: host fanfiction.

Anyway, I wish the best of luck to SpookyChick (http://www.spookychick.com), it looks like it'll be a fun forum to break away from the horrors of the community :-P  :lol:
