Hello,
I have an Amiga Forever (Classic Support) Workbench 3.1 SD Card which I purchased from Cloanto.
I have no idea whether this includes the Kicksrtart ROMS which I am desperate to get my hands on.
I have reached out to Cloanto three times over the past month, but am yet to receive a reply.
Please can someone advise me how I should proceed.
Thanks

See if you can find "cloanto amiga forever essentials" on one of the alternative android APK sites - you can copy them over from your phone USB.
Failing that try archive.org - not gonna link here though not hard to find.

This is what they write on the support site: By popular demand, the Amiga Forever series always included ROMs, floppy disk images and system updates and patches also taking into account "Classic Support" scenarios (for use outside of emulated Amiga systems).
https://www.amigaforever.com/news-events/classic-support-3-1/ it's old, CF mentionet but SD not (yet?)

Thanks for your help

Thats really useful, thanks. I have the CF pictured on that page, so I guess it includes the ROMs! I wish there was a place I could download them officially.

Unfortunately Cloanto don’t work like Hyperion do. At least with AmigaOS 3.1.4, 3.2 and 4.1FE. If you have registered your licensed product, you can then setup a login and download these.
I have no idea why Cloanto give you a License code on anything? It’s not worth the typeface.

The Amiga Forever Package from Cloanto (now v11) includes most ROM files up to 3.1/3.x. The Individually downloadable Amiga Forever Classic Support Disk Pack includes the NTSC Kickstart 1.1 and generic Kickstart 1.3 ADF's (Kickstarts that were on disk), excludes PAL Kickstart 1.1 and generic Kickstart 1.2. Also includes the Relokick v1.4 Degrader by Galahad.

Are the v11 ones unencrypted?

Are the v11 ones unencrypted?
There was quite a discussion on EAB about when that happened. AFAIK AF has had unencrypted ROMS for awhile. At least since v9 maybe.

My AF11 ISO has a rom.key file in the ROMs directory but not sure if that means that the ROM files are encrypted or not.

After a quick check online it states the Value Edition of AF since AF 8 are likely to have ROM's with XOR encryption making the ROM file approx. 1kb larger eg 513kb rather than the standard 512kb. This is coupled with a rom.key in the ROM folder. There are 128kb and 256kb ROMs also that this would apply to.
It also states AF Plus Edition and Premium Edition since AF 8 do not have this encryption system and are unencrypted.
My AF 11 Premium downloadable package has unencrypted ROMs.

I had to decrypt my Plus Edition 10 ROMs to get them to work with the A600GS

Interesting to know. So if people have Value Edition, they will have issues.
