Hi, I saw some other folks posting with this issue, but they were buried in other threads and didn't seem to be answered so I though I would start a new one. I hope that is OK. I tried playing video for the first time on my A600GS (the Viva Amiga sample video provided) and am getting this error message "Unable to open armmpegfile library. Please ensure that AVCodec is installed via the A600GS / A1200NG Advanced Update section" I did click the radio button and installed/updated it in the Advanced Update section and still no dice. My firmware is all up to date. I also tried to use the "Updater" that is in the System draw in AmiBench, but that didn't work either. Is the best way to fix this to do a factory reset? Thanks in advance for the help. I am really enjoying the A600GS. I recently dowloaded, extracted, and ran some new Amiga demos all with the 600GS. It was a cool feeling 8)

Got the same problem here, try this :
- turn auto login OFF
- go to the advanced update menu
- update every package except the avcodec
- reboot
- update the avcodec
- reboot
- turn auto login ON
- reboot
Don“t know if ALL the steps are necessary but it worked for me ;)
