Title: A500 Memory Expansion issues
Post by: Eyerisk73 on August 30, 2025, 11:06:59 AM
Hi,

Complete Novice and soooo excited to have an Amiga back in my life at the age of 52.

I purchased it 2nd hand all working ok and then started buying up all of the games I played back when I was a teenager. I have now purchased two memory expansion modules for the A500 both from Amiga Kit the first one I think I ordered A500+ instead of A500 however the result is the same the Amiga will not recognise the additional memory.

Any suggestions, its sat correctly I have powered off and on all the usual stuff - I am yet to open up the actual PC but have no problems doing this?

Any help would be appreciated.

Regards
Ian

Just wondering what you want help with.

Do you have any kind of problem? Suggestions what to do with it?

I'd ask, what would you like to do/be able to do as a way to suggest what kind of additional hardware you might want to look at. If you just want the original experience and just play old games or if you want a modernised system with the ability to do more modern and demanding stuff.
