Does anyone have download link of a preset .hdf file of Amos pro ?? A wanting to have a play around with it on my a600gs. So far haven’t been able to successfully find one I can just import via the main menu. I’ve only been able to find source versions that need compiling. Many thanks

Would it be worth mounting the ADFs while in Amibench? Using something like http://www.classicamiga.com/content/view/5027/176/
That or copy the HDF files from this one https://amigaboing.net/sdm_downloads/amos-professional/ (or via the AGS install of AmosPro)
Can't find a pre-built HDF by searching quickly.

I downloaded that from amigaboing and didn’t really have a clue what I was doing. I’ll try the .adfs instead. Thanks

I also used this - https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/up119frz7daiy9h7vouuw/AMOSPro_Community_2020_1.adf?e=1&noscript=1&rlkey=rwvrzegw26vwjccsr2i2y69zk&dl=0
Not sure what fixes it provides on top of the old install, but might be worth looking into also.

To rebuild the WHDBoot code I ended up unpacking disks to directories and using assigns to get it working as it will not install itself with the AROS rom but it will run....

@Twiggy I’ll try that tomorrow on my day off thanks.
@broadblues that’s way over my level of skills at the moment. I had an a500 mostly back in the day and bought a second hand a1200 quite a few years later but never messed with it as it had loads of stuff already installed. Rediscovering Amiga many years later thanks to Matthew at Amigakit (I run the a500/a1200/a600gs Facebook group) so hoping to learn and spread the good word in my group😎

Hope it goes well! I can only assume those ADFs have an install thing that can be followed with the ADFs swapped at the necessary time etc.
I went ahead and made some other WB HDFs with this https://aminet.net/package/disk/misc/Empty_HDF_files
Mainly to use v4 OctaMED and old Protrackers. But AMOS Pro works too.

I successfully installed it as an individual boot and it works fine there.
Belive I simply copied the first disc, entirely, and then copied the other discs one by one into a directory in to the root - where after I in the user-startup assigned each directory as a ... disc :)
Need to go to "Amos Pro for Windows" to dig out extra extentions to have em all :)
