Title: New A1200NG and A600GS Video Playback Feature

The A1200 NG (https://www.amigakit.com/a1200ng-motherboard-p-91333.html) and A600GS (https://www.amigakit.com/a600gs-p-91329.html) will have the new PlayVideo (https://wiki.amiga.org/index.php?title=PlayVideo) utility in the next free update.

With this new tool, MPEG videos can be easily played on AmiBench (https://wiki.amiga.org/index.php?title=AmiBench) through either using the CLI, clicking DefIcons or selection of the video files in an ASL requester.  Videos can be optionally played on the AmiBench screen or full screen.

CLI usage:  Click the YouTube link to view a demonstration (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vtSSxzr21q0)

Update installed and it works great! Tried several videos I had on my Work partition and they played smoothly! 8) Thanks for this update!

That’s great !  If you double click a video when playing it will toggle full screen mode on and off

Did you try the new UnArchiver ? We are continuing the process of making new tools for Amibench

The new UnArchiver is very handy and nice to use! :) Have experienced no problems unpacking.
