Does anyone here have experience installing Amiga OS 3.2 on an Amiga 1000? The installation instructions say it is supported and that a 3.x Kickstart ROM is required, but the Amiga 1000 uses Kickstart floppies in place of ROMs, and the installation instructions don't specify what to write as a Kisktart floppy.

IIRC, Amiga 1000 has only 256K RAM for kickstart, KS3+ are 512K ?
I'd make/buy some hardware adapter or accelerator that can take KS3+
Loading it on every (cold) boot is tedious, perhaps even from hdd.

Yes, for exampel Parceiro II.
(though I use a pistorm in mine)

I actively prefer loading Kickstarts on every boot the Amiga 1000 way. It's slower, but it allows me to switch between different systems rather handily.

IIRC, some hardware solutions also include kickstart switchers.

Ok, so you want a 3.2 kickstart floppy. The WOM of the A1000 where kickstart normally is loaded to, is just 256kB, so you will need fast ram and softkick program of some sort.
I would have tried some of these…

I added a Pi-Storm to mine and the Pi-Storm can then boot whatever Kickstart you want.
Biggest problem I have is I still only have 512k of Chip RAM. :(. No rejuvenator in mine sadly.

@Bluewizard
Same here, it’s a shame that there’s no straight forward solution for adding more chipram on PAL A1000s.
