Title: A600GS speed and controller config

I have had good time to toy with the A600GS this christmas and new year, and I have discovered that games run a lot faster through Amibench than they do from the launcher.

Gloom, AB3D, Colonization - all run a lot faster in terms of frame rates and the computer making its moves.

I like the Amibench so it is all good - I just wondered if there was an explaination?

Also - the joypad does not seem to map correctly to Gloom, AB3D and Guardian to name a few. Strafing using the shoulder buttons is not possible.

Guess that is because AmiBench is emulating a 68040/Fastet Possible and the pre-configured settings for A1200/CD32/whatever don´t ;)

Maybe also has to do with JIT on/off ?
