Title: A600GS just got it and found a few bugs
Post by: boingball on November 24, 2024, 04:08:14 PM
Hi All,
Just got my A600GS - updated it to the latest firmware (21Nov)
Just having a play and not sure if these bugs are logged - so here is what I've found so far...

A600GS Gui
Settings screen to 720p doesn't resize the UI - By default the device picks up the highest resolution of you monitor, I wanted to lower it down to 720p (1280 x 720 x 50Hz) - it saves and reboots the device. however it starts back up in 720p but the GUI is still set to 1080p - making the device unworkable as you can't use most of the menus

Amibench:
Eagle player - won't play sound ( AHI is turned on, but nothing comes out and crashes) -AHI test sound works fine
Hippo complains about a file 'HippoPlayer.group' when opening a module and doesn't start
DOpus - can't see my external drive , doesn't appear in the drive list - drive is in AmiBench however
Can get to the external drive in DOPUS by looking at the Parent list
Device is excellent just working through it all now. - wanting to see what it can do :)

To access an external drive in DOpus, you can drag the icon for the drive from the desktop into the DOpus window and it comes up.
That's how I access it.
