Title: Running MMU with PiStorm?
Post by: bradhansen1 on October 20, 2024, 04:54:23 PM
Hi All, Does anyone know if it is possible to run MMU with PiStorm?
I installed MMULib on my A1200 3.2.2.1 sytem but it does not launch
the models. Just stops the Startup. Sysinfo identifies the CPU as
an 040 with Coprocessor but no MMU, is it just not possible?
Appreciate any feedback.
Thank you,
Brad Hansen

Emu68 has a built in 68040.library emulation, but it means that installing MMU libs is unnecessary and can lead to instability.

Here's a link to the official FAQ on the subject.

Emu68 does not emulate 68040 MMU, so no.
Don’t use ThoR’s cpu/mmu libs with Emu68.
