While fiddling around with some amiga hardware pages I stumbled across a digitizer by Elsat that is actually known by various names: FG24+, the ProGrab 24RT and the Graiffito.
The thing is listed on Amiga-hardware.com.
Wow:) So the A1200 could also do that...
Has anyone used one? I was curious about the quality of the image. The A1200 PCMCIA port can achieve 3MB/s with an expanded A1200, at least that's what they advertised, so this could have a decent image quality. Probably it was only average quality, targetted at the low budget buyers, but I'd love to hear from people that used one..

Found a review here (http://www.aurora1.demon.co.uk/gadgets/prograb.html)
I've been away of amigas during most of the 90's so that's why I still hadn't see it... :-D

Pah, I should've read the review before making a fool of myself by posting this... realtime yeah right...

I used the ProGrab24RT once. About 5 years ago now I think.
A white box that plugged into the parallel port and could continually grab frames roughly every 2 seconds until you've no memory left :-)
I can't remember what the highest grab possible was, but we made an animation about 320x256 in an afternoon.
It was fun stuff :-)
