Hi All, Can someone point me to an IRC chat room, that people really use the to talk and exchange Ideas
and is a real community. the one I connect to on Wookie Chat just seem dead. People are there but no one
talks or visits. Are there any? Would like to know.

IRC feels pretty much dead these days. Some people keep staying logged in but are never or rarely active, for whatever reason, so newcomers get tired and leaves.
Peoples attentionspan is so low these days and since there is no backlog when you login you can't ever see when someone last wrote something. I guess that's the main reason why everyone's on discord now, because there is a backlog.

I hate discord, :(. Just not a great platform, its trying to be 10 things its not. Its a voice chat client, nothing more. Yet they try to make it to everything that ruins the experience.

I tend to agree with you, but still most people seem to prefer that. As I mentioned, the fact that you can backtrack discussions when you login is something I think many value, something you can't do on IRC.
