Hey all!
I've had one of Lukas Remis' wireless tank mouse for a little over a year. It's a great mouse, except for issues with the scroll sensor. This mouse doesn't have a wheel, but instead senses your finger sliding up and down between the mouse buttons.

When connected to my PC, it sometimes scrolls like it should, but much of the time it won't scroll at all. Other times it will start scrolling randomly on its own. I've tried both the Bluetooth and the wireless dongle with the same results.
On my Amiga 500, with the mouse scroll driver installed, it usually just randomly scrolls all over. I end up just not loading the driver and use it as a two button mouse.
It has been doing this for months and I haven't been able to find a pattern.
Has anyone taken one of these mice apart and examined the scroll sensor? Is there anything that could be improved with it? Shielding behind the sensor? Adjust the position? etc...

I haven't taken mine apart, but I notice when my batteries are getting low the scrolling happens randomly or it just starts to drift. I use rechargeables in mine, so when I notice that happening I just pop in new ones and recharge the old.

I thought about that and the batteries I have now are brand new.
