(I have not seen this mentioned elsewhere)
After sorting out the other problems by reflashing the internal SD, it's been running well. I booted it this morning and it took longer than usual and instead of the red pointer, a standard Linux one was showing but the game menu loaded. I decided to reboot to see if the pointer would go back to normal. The (plymouth?) loading screen appeared then the screen went black. I left it a good 10 minutes when I came back to the machine it was still a black screen. CTRL-ALT-DELETE actually rebooted (usually has no effect) but to a blank screen. Powered off, left it a few minutes and started again - nothing - just a black screen. No matter what I do, I'm getting a video output - but it's just a black screen.

Its currently being looked into. Your the second person to report this.
I was first, I solved it by re-imaging. However this is not an option for everyone.
Thinking is, its in a reset loop.

OK, I'll see if I can salvage the backups I made from the SD.
Then I will re-flash from the image I was given.

This problem has persisted, I've had a few times where the system would not boot fully. Each time, I've re-flashed the SD card and setup everything again.
Tonight it has happened once more, no pattern to it. At power-on the boot screen appears with the progress bar. The progress goes full speed to 3/4 of the way through, the final 1/4th becomes ever slower, after 5 minutes it completes and says "AMIGA KIT", but progresses no further.
