Title: AmiStore first tests on the A600GS

AmiStore has been recompiled for the A600GS (https://wiki.amiga.org/a600gs) and OS3.   In the screenshots below, it is running in AmiBench (https://wiki.amiga.org/amibench) on the A600GS.   

AmiStore (OS3) is connecting to the AmiStore (OS4) live database.  The products are shown for test purposes.    The products shown are not representative of the products that will be provided to A600GS users.


The AmiStore client will be launched after the A600GS is released as a free downloadable update.  We hope to add new features such as QR code checkout process.

So AmiStore for OS4 will stay alive as well?

Any juicy news on OS4 Enhancer/Apps/Drivers/?

Hi,

The OS4 version will be improved in due course too.

We have more Enhancer Software updates planned too, version 2.3 is coming this year.

As I travel a lot in my work the A600GS would be a perfect travel companion
to hook up to the TV in hotel rooms as there is never anything good to watch on TV anyway!

How much is it going for when released?

Hello,

We travelled with the A600GS to California and Germany to attend Amiga shows.  It is very small so fits easily in luggage.  It is powered by USB so hotel rooms generally have the wall sockets to plug into.   The HDMI TV in the hotel room is perfect for it too.  We found it very convenient.


We are releasing it at the end of this month.   We will fulfill the preorders first

Elsewhere on the site, it mentions that the 20% VAT will be deducted from the posted price if you're located outside of the U.K.
