Title: Where to get IBrowse?
Post by: neofree on January 04, 2003, 04:29:07 PM
Anyone know an alternative place to get IBrowse?  www.ibrowse-dev.net doesn't seem to load correctly for the last several days.  I just wish I downloaded from there when I had the chance.  Anyone have the file that was on there?

Thank you,

Neofree

I've just tried the site and it loads fine for me (I'm on a PC using Netscape, Mozilla and K-Meleon - loads fine in all).  Try going straight to the downloads page...

www.ibrowse-dev.net/download.php (http://www.ibrowse-dev.net/download.php)

If you do get it downloaded check this out for plugins...

www.ziplink.net/~wingell/ibrowse/ (http://www.ziplink.net/~wingell/ibrowse/)

Well, right now I am using IE6 on Windows XP.  I just reset all my browser settings to defaults, still no go.  I've been able to access the site before without any changes of settings.  Also, my computer at work was able to access it before, and now cannot.  Plus, I tried with my A1200 last night using AWeb-II 3.2, and it still didn't work.

Can someone send me the direct link to the download?  Or just send me the file?

Thanks,

Neofree

Here's the download for iBrowse:

ftp://ftp.hisoft.co.uk/pub/amiga/ibrowse/iBrowse2_2.lha (http://ftp://ftp.hisoft.co.uk/pub/amiga/ibrowse/iBrowse2_2.lha)

and here's the CacheBrowser if you need it:

http://privatespace.berlinweb.de/igracki-thomas/archives/ICE.lzx (http://privatespace.berlinweb.de/igracki-thomas/archives/ICE.lzx)

Hope that helps. :-)
