Please take all postings with a "grain of salt" until further facts emerge.

I suggest here instead (https://amiga-news.de/de/news/AN-2024-03-00105-DE.html)

and here (https://eab.abime.net/showthread.php?t=117364)

and from link forward here (https://amigaworld.net/modules/newbb/viewtopic.php?mode=viewtopic&topic_id=43330&forum=16&start=220&viewmode=flat&order=0#869298)

Be sure to read comments, as many additions/corrections have been added in most reports.

Absolutely, thats why we took the decision to not distribute or commercialise any software that is under dispute such as "OS 3.1.4" and "OS 3.2".

Will be a shame though, if no more AmigaOS development took place 😔 Was looking forward to AmigaOS 3.3. 🤞🏻 Something gets sorted

Its far to early to speculate what is going to happen and in fact its not Hyperion in trouble, if you read the document carefully it is in fact Ben Hermans BV which is the company facing liquidators and that company holds 97% of shares in Hyperion, Hyperion itself is fine and is an asset. So the actual proceedings has not been read correctly from the source linked above. It is simple business Symantec's at play here and it happens every day in the business world.

We have just ordered more copies of AmigaOS 3.2 and they are on their way to us and until there is a clear indication of what is actually happening we will continue to do so. Its been a while since we have had a big Amiga drama :-)

Well. Hopefully be able to buy a copy of AmigaOS 3.3 from other reputable resellers in the future such as Sordan.ie etc…

Please stop. We all know you have issues with RetroPassion, but please threads are going to end up trashed.
Lets keep it civil and on topic.

No worries. Just trying to put out a fair assessment that there are other resellers out there who also sell Hyperions Amiga OS products. Hopefully they too will not have any issues going forward.

Hopefully this Hyperion business gets sorted out and AmigaOS 3.3 get released. 🤞🏻This will sort out the issues in 3.2 and above. 👍🏻

I realize it has been a long time since the early spring reports from the Belgian Court concerning various bankruptcy information.

We now have some news...

Derfs was kind enough to immediately respond to my request for OCR and even included the translation of the Belgian court information:

I'm sure the shareholders can not wait to explain to the community what this might mean for -them- (evil grin)

New Ownership of Hyperion Entertainment CVBA – New Director Appointed (https://www.hyperion-entertainment.com/index.php/news)

Same from AmigaNews.de (http://amiga-news.de/de/news/AN-2025-01-00088-DE.html)

As usual with the German version of AmigaNews, it's always worth a look at the comment section for the news article.

Thanks for the info! :) Is it true what is written in one of the user comments at amiga-news.de that Ben Hermans has appealed and that there will be a new meeting in two months?

In the prior new article on the same topic, there was mention of a court date in March. Even if true, we know from an earlier public document that a former date was delayed. I'd say best to wait for actual confirmation and result, if any.

Think they care? they sign contracts one week and breach them a week later to suit their needs.
Fedup of it all to be honest.
