Simple answer “no”. Unless there is a Mark 2 of the PiStorm. The Pi5 has a slightly different arrangement where the CPU sits, so will not fit the current PiStorm.

Pi4 / CM4 are insanely fast, do you need more, lol.
2.5GHz's is enough for me, plus the 1.7GB's of Fast RAM just sweetens it, :).

It's more than physical layout. The official FAQ on Discord (posted by PiStorm creator Claude Schwartz himself) states "It will need major changes to PiStorm/PiStorm32-lite on hardware, gateware and software. As soon as Pi5 boards are available we will investigate." (28 September '23)

Basically what I stated in my post in regards to layout and needing to be a mark 2 PiStorm. 😉

Amigakit need to sell these 😉 I Will definitely buy one 🤗

Can't a GPIO riser or cable be used to overcome the physical challenges of the different board layouts?
Obviously, if a CPLD software upgrade is required then that will take time for development.

The problem is that the GPIO of the Pi5 sits behind some PCIe lane or something, so the timing required is not possible atm.
So there is much more needed than just some layout change.
At current state:impossible.
