Title: Price for my A3000?
Post by: Acill on March 22, 2004, 12:54:38 PM
Okay I am thinking hard about selling off my A3000 to raise money for a Peg II system. I need some help in asking for a fair price, though I think I could get more for parting it out, I would rather not. I am not asking for a lot, just as close to the $700 I need for the Peg II and the rest for a good case, RAM and video card. I have the rest I think. IF anyone is intersted let me know and plaease let me know what to do. Selling this will be the hardest thing I have ever done! Here are its specs.

Late revision A3000D motherboard in perfect working order. (Int_2 completed and working great)
Mirage Tower case
Mediator
CSPPC 200Mhz/68060 at 50MHZ with 128MB
Catweasel ZII and Buddha IDE (Bootable and great IDE)
Keywalda adapter for Amiga bootable use of PC drives
Voodoo 3, 3000 video card
FM801 based sound card using AHI in all Amiga apps and custcom passthrough built to play amiga paula sound through it as well in WB run apps/games.
TrendNet 10/100 Ethernet card
800MB SCSI II boot drive with OS3.9 installed and BB1, BB2 ect.
4GB IDE "Data/apps" drive using the Catweasel/buddha IDE.
44X IDE CD-ROM drive currently using AlegroCDFS. Much faster then CacheCDFS.
2 Sony 1.44 (will do amiga HD modes 1.76 too) Floppy drives
2 A2000 Keyboards in clean and working order, no problems or stuck keys.
Champ Mouse. Nice, but unused
Golden Image Optical Mouse. AWSOME 3 button mouse. Extra pads as well for this mouse.
Lots of software on CD including OS3.9, PAyback, Napalm, Simon II and various apps and games I have collected over the years. You can view my profile and see some internal pictures of it too. They have the MK II installed then, but its a CSPPC now.

Thats about it I guess. Let me know what you think and email me if anyone may be interested.

CSPPC 200Mhz/68060 at 50MHZ with 256MB

Isn't 128MB, the max mem you could get on a CSPPC?

I believe you !!!
It's a very nice machine, I still hope it goes to good hands.
