Title: Changing Icon designations, (Tool to Project)
Post by: bradhansen1 on October 23, 2023, 08:49:13 PM
Hi All, Having so much fun trying to figure out Amiga OS objects... Okay so some of my older .adf files are designated
as Tools and have no "Default Tool:" location in the icon. Newer ones that are designated as Projects and do have this and
so makes them mount with a double click because that icon has the "DAControl" loaded as the Default Tool. So how can I
change the "Tool" one to "Project" and then be able to launch with a double click.
If I am just a big Dummy so be it, thanks for any help.

Hi Brad!
There are no stupid questions, only stupid answers... and hopefully, mine won't be  ;)

A simple(st) solution is a command-line tool to change the icon type like http://aminet.net/package/util/wb/seticontype

Cheers!
