I was in a few shops with my son yesterday and noticed how much merch there is for Playstation, Xbox, Atari, and characters like Mario etc. There are mugs, keyrings, lights etc in high street shops. I'd love to see Commodore and Amiga branded stuff alongside them.
If they existed, what sort of thing would you buy?
(Let's not make this a discussion about trademark ownership etc. There are already items sold with the checkmark or boing ball, so let's assume there are no blockers.)

If you go to any Amiga show/event - like for instance Amiga38 in Mönchengladbach in less than two months - there are plenty of types of merchandise to choose from. I usually can't resist bringing home stuff like mugs, pens, mouse pads etc.
Best regards,
Niels

I agree, I've been to a couple of shows this year and have some items including a mouse mat, a mug and USB stick in the shape of an A520 modulator. It would be great to see Amiga branded items on the high street too.

Sounds like the sole achievements of Amiga Inc/Pentti Kouri Aquisitions! Mouse mats, mugs and sponsoring sports stadiums. You should have hoovered all that tat up! ;D

A mug of Amiga with a reference to Commodore but honestly, I dont need anymore amiga stuff.
Im trying to sell my vast repertoire of systems as software as it stands now!

If you go to any Amiga show/event...
Also if you do a Search on etsy.com, you can find Amiga items! :)

Some plushs with famous Amiga characters would be nice, alongside the boing ball.

Our mascot Hottie was created on the Amiga in 2003. Should we create some merchandise featuring her?

Might as well sell Miss Croatia posters if you're going there!

...Miss Croatia...
Ah, Andrea looks lovely. :)

Hmm, when I read:

- I got images in my mind of plush Dave Haynies and Jay Miners - or even Bill McEwens.
Not sure what to make of those thoughts ...

If you're going to make Medhi Ali voodoo dolls then you need to make Irving Gould ones too!!

Okay. So just to point this out.
1).. The youth of today are normally the target market. Nintendo, Sony, Microsoft, okay and even Atari (Having a resurrection phase) are in the here and now, being massed produce and bought in the shops as the must have item. Therefore advertised a lot on TV, films, TV shows etc.. So will be bigger sellers for shops.
2).. News flash! Commodore went bankrupt in 1994! Therefore the Gen Z’s of the day will not of heard of the brand. Yes there are a lot of old timers out there (Like me!) who have nostalgia for the 80’s and 90’s. But that’s where the problem lies. Shops won’t sell a lesser product on their shelves when you have option 1 above. Besides no mass product being sold anymore. Dare I say it’s niche. Yes you can buy reproduction mini machines like C64, Amiga 500. But what are the numbers being sold? Don’t forget the average 40+ year olds were not all into Computing back in the day 😉 Therefore not all from that era would be interested.

Shops!!! what is this alien concept. I miss walking into a shop and actually browsing. Online shopping sucks.
My home towns main street, is just borded up shops, :(.
Merchandise wise, what else could you do. Mugs, plastic logo's. Stuff, people are doing now.

There was a time when you could get raspberry pi zeros wrapped in cheap plastic as merch at conferences.

lol. I remember the days of going on Sony and Hitachi training courses for new tech and they would never do stuff like that.
Unless you count the liquid lunch break, free bar paid by them.
